What Is It Like to See 2hollis Live?
Mosh pits from the intro clip, one acoustic song where the whole floor holds up phone lights, then "jeans" three, five, seven times in a row while the room gets louder every pass.
What to Know Before You Go
- 1Learn "jeans" before anything else.
It's how the night ends, and it doesn't end once. More on that [below](#what-its-actually-like).
- 2The pit starts before he does.
At [The Salt Shed](/venues/salt-shed) in October 2025, a short vocal clip in the intro set off several pits before he'd even walked on.
- 3Step back when you're told to.
Staff will hold the show until the front row eases off. At [Roadrunner](/venues/roadrunner) in October 2025 the announcement was "2hollis can not perform until everyone takes a few steps backwards," and it took over an hour.
- 4Get your phone light ready for "eldest child."
It's the one song on acoustic guitar with his bare voice, and the pit turns into a field of swaying lights.
- 5Openers on the 2027 run
Lucy Bedroque and Conceal. On the 2025 to 2026 Star Tour it was his friends Nate Sib and rommulas, and Nate Sib came back on mid-set for "afraid."
- 6Draw the line.
A lot of fans copy the single black line of makeup he wears under his eyes. WVAU's reviewer saw it all over the floor at The Fillmore Silver Spring.
- 7Bring something to sign.
He often walks out to fans after the show. Details in [Fan Culture](#fan-culture-and-traditions).
- 8VIP doesn't get you a meet-and-greet.
On the Pirouette Tour it buys early entry, a collectible item and first crack at the merch stand.

What It's Actually Like
"jeans" Until Somebody Stops It
The last song is "jeans," and then it's "jeans" again. And again. At Heaven in London on 20 March 2025 he played it four times; at MTELUS in Montreal in October 2025 it was five, which Montreal Rocks called "a ritual of repetition"; Stereogum counted five at Terminal 5 and seven in Toronto. Dork saw seven at Brixton Academy too. You'd think a crowd would tire of it by the third run. It's the opposite: "The crowd grew more hyped with each repetition," per The Harvard Crimson. By the fifth at Terminal 5 his friends were on stage and he'd stopped singing, just letting the track play while the room did it for him. It's no surprise setlist.fm logs 309 plays of "jeans," more than double his next most played song.
The Pit Is the Main Event, and the Show Stops for It
"Almost every song induced multiple mosh pits, with limbs flailing and articles of clothing flying on every beat," is how The Harvard Crimson described Roadrunner. You'll feel the floor go before the first chorus. The pits open on slow songs too, which he's said surprised him on his first European tour in 2024. He'll stop when it gets dangerous. At Lollapalooza on 31 July 2025, about 20 minutes in, a red screen told the crowd to back up and he said "Step back, don't hurt each other" and "If someone falls down, pick them up." At Roadrunner the hold came before he'd even appeared: "I'm sorry for the wait, it wasn't me," he told the room when he finally walked out.
“I have the worst, most excruciating shin splints after every single show, because I jump around so much.”
Auto-Tune Over the Track, Except for One Song
Most of the night he's singing with Auto-Tune over a backing track while a DJ runs the music. UIC Radio's reviewer at The Salt Shed said his vocals stayed clear over it, so you'll hear him. Then near the end he picks up an acoustic guitar for "eldest child," no processing at all. Dork called it "the only song played live on guitar rather than by the DJ" at Brixton. At The Powerstation in February 2026, The 13th Floor's reviewer picked it as the standout of the set, and UIC Radio's reviewer at The Salt Shed said it moved them to tears. It's the one quiet minute before "jeans" kicks the pit back open.
He Spins, Jumps and Barely Talks
He doesn't do speeches. NME at Heaven noted that "he doesn't need to be too talkative" because the crowd fills every gap, and he left it at "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you" in Boston. What you get instead is motion: quick spins, side-to-side jolts and rolls across the floor, as the Daily Illini put it at Lollapalooza. A fan who wrote up Heaven on Substack described a room "ready to see 2hollis jumpstyle across the stage." For the last "jeans" he tends to end up at the barrier. At Roadrunner he jumped down onto the barricade.
His Friends Keep Walking On
His collective boyliife is part of the show. Nate Sib, a childhood friend, came back on to do "afraid" with him at Heaven, The Salt Shed and Roadrunner in 2025. rommulas joined him for "ouu" at Heaven. At Terminal 5 his friends crowded the stage for the last "jeans." That's why it feels like a house party that got out of hand rather than a production.
A Young, Loud, Filming Crowd
NME saw "messy-haired Zoomers" in baggy jeans and silver chains at Heaven, with the room about 80 percent male during "crush" and people vaping inside. The Eero Stakes Substack at the same club noticed lots of teens and pits that were "chaotic and etiquette-free," with fans screaming the words louder than he sang them. Roadrunner skewed college-age. At Terminal 5, phones stayed up all night despite him asking people to stop filming. "The set was amazing, the crowd insane," a Philadelphia fan wrote on Bandsintown in October 2025.
The Pirouette Tour (2026-2027)
About 30 dates across North America, the UK and Europe behind Pirouette, his album due 11 November 2026. It opens at Camp Flog Gnaw in Los Angeles on 14 November 2026, runs headline dates from 5 February to 12 March 2027 in North America, hits Europe and the UK in April, and closes at Under The K Bridge Park in Brooklyn on 14 May 2027.
The Biggest Rooms He's Booked
This is the first headline run with arenas on it. The Kia Forum on 5 March and OVO Arena Wembley on 7 April are the biggest rooms, alongside CoBank Arena in Denver and Atlas Arena in Łódź. The Star Tour played theaters and halls like Terminal 5 and Brixton. Portland gets two nights at the Roseland. A show that already pauses for crowd safety in theaters is heading into rooms with much bigger floors, so expect the step-back announcements to come with it.
Who Opens
Lucy Bedroque and Conceal are the announced support. The Brooklyn date lists Conceal and a TBA guest instead of Lucy Bedroque, and Melodic Magazine notes fans expect boyliife to turn up there. That's a change from the Star Tour, where his own friends opened and then came back on.
What Carries Over From the Star Tour
Nothing from Pirouette has been played on a tour yet, though singles "Sex" and "Hurt" are out. On the Star Tour the night was built around a giant inflatable white tiger that growled on cue, red and white light, constant fog, and the rain-sound breaks where he'd leave and come back with fewer layers on, until at Brixton only his jeans were left. Whether the tiger makes it to the arenas is unknown. What's carried across every tour is the shape of the night: pits from the start and one acoustic song before the finale.
The VIP Package
Early venue entry, one premium reserved or GA ticket, an exclusive collectible merch item, a VIP laminate and first access to the merch stand. There's no meet-and-greet in it, so the early entry is the part you're really paying for.

Merch
There isn't much hard merch intel yet. On the Pirouette Tour, VIP buyers get an exclusive collectible item and first access to the merch stand. Searches for "Star Tour merch" turn up mostly third-party marketplace listings on Walmart, eBay and Etsy rather than an official store, so treat those listings with suspicion. No official tee, hoodie or poster prices were published, and there's no fan verdict on quality yet.

Frequently Asked Questions
A rave with a mosh pit that never fully closes. Pits open from the intro, the room stops once for the acoustic "eldest child," and the finale is where the crowd takes over completely.
About 1h 26m on average, per setlist.fm. Repeated runs of "jeans" are part of that time, so nights with more repeats run longer.
Yes, for nearly every song. He sings with Auto-Tune over a track run by a DJ, and the one exception is "eldest child," which he plays on acoustic guitar with his bare voice.
Reviewers mostly say yes, as long as you want a pit. UIC Radio's reviewer at The Salt Shed started on the VIP balcony and ended up joining the pit for the rest of the show. If you want to watch rather than mosh, pick a balcony where the room has one.
"jeans," "eldest child" and "afraid." After "jeans," setlist.fm's most played are "trauma," "crush," "two bad" and "light."
For crowd safety. He and venue staff pause when the front gets too packed: a red screen asked the Lollapalooza crowd to back up in 2025, and at Brixton he left to rain sounds several times when the pit got too rough.
Yes, if you'll be in or near the pit. He went from getting booed as Ken Carson's opener in 2024 to booking arenas for 2027, and reviewers from Boston to Auckland came away describing the crowd as much as the music.
Not as a headliner. The Star Tour played theaters and halls like Terminal 5 and Brixton Academy; the Pirouette Tour adds arenas like the Kia Forum and OVO Arena Wembley.
