Concert Collection: Ben Fitzhenry

Loved this show. Intimate venues are always so cozy and fun, makes you feel more connected to the artist. Even if the show wasn't perfectly peformed and there was a couple of mishaps, that almost added to the show more for me. I loved seeing those imperfections and the human side of it, those can be some of the best moments of a live peformance. Also the entire band were stood right in front of me for the support act Sarah Meth which was funny to me. Popcorn

Hearing them open with 'Mark's Theme' was completely unexpected but so special to hear. Just such a beautiful relaxing show

This was a very last minute show as my friend had a spare ticket so I just thought why not. I used to listen to Rocky a good bit in 2nd/3rd year but I don't listen to him anymore so from a setlist point of view it didn't mean anything to me really but as a show it was great. The set design and production value was very impressive and I was very happy that my friend was able to see him

My first ever no phone show and it was such a great experience. Really refreshing to not see everyone on their phone for the whole thing, even though someone somehow got their phone out and managed to get a video which was beyond me but I didn't let it take away from the brilliant show that it was

Was supposed to see both AatS and MP the year previously but both shows got cancelled so it was great to be able to see them both.

Sweatiest show I've even been to, but one of the best ever without a doubt. Forever grateful for this one

I remember being so unbelievably happy seeing KL. Even though I only became a fan of theirs right before the latest record, they had easily become one of my favourite bands in recent time. So special seeing them and they held their ground

This show was one of the many examples of me feeling insanely anxious for no reason but as soon as the lights go down and the artist comes out, all my worries go away. One of the shorter shows that I've been to which I appreciated

Being able to see Denzel again was very sick, and he put on such a good show. Unbelievable setlist too

I remember the guitars were so loud for the chorus of 'Cigarette in Your Bed' that I could feel the heat from the stage, which was one of the most insane feelings ever. I didn't even know that could be possible

My second farewell tour show (technically third if you wanna count the Injury Reserve show) and it was such a great show. Great setlist and performances from everyone, Dennis in particular for me stood out, he's just such a good frontman.

Not even the biggest fan of his music but it was my first time ever going to a show with just my mam and it was a very wholesome experience. Seeing her so happy made me so happy

I remember this being a really good show and I would've given it a higher rating if I hadn't seen them already but it didn't help that Amyl and the Sniffers were supposed to support but they pulled out last minute for whatever reason. Qotsa were still great though

Every set was so good. Being able to see mitj after following them for a few years was very sick and SOFT PLAY had such an unbelievable energy about them. And to top it off, this was my favourite set from TMC I had seen. Blindness is quite underappreciated I feel and hearing some of those songs live was really great.

Probably the longest show I've ever been at, but so incredibly impressive. The start of the show was a bit strange because of how bright it was seeing it was an open roof but regardless, such a fun show! The version of m.A.A.d city was so sick

I think the majority of people were there for AOF and I mean rightfully so. A part of me did feel quite bad for C&C because a good amount of people left the show when AOF finished up but if I had the chance, I probably would've done the same. I need to see AOF play a headline show in Dublin ASAP

I remember one of my favourite songs ever "We're All Alone" playing after the show which I was delighted about. I'm still bitter I've never got to see Black Midi live, but this will do

Quite a full circle moment for me as a show. I remember us as a family were all meant to go YMAS for my brothers 18th in The Academy but I was too young to go so me and mam had to go cinema instead which I had a great time personally. But being at their farewell tour, was just a cool show to be able to go to.

Show was incredible as it was, but the crowd really lifted it up to the max. What a show

Probably one of the most surreal, emotional shows I've ever been to just because of how much IDLES as a band mean to me. Watching so many of their live shows on YouTube (especially their Glastonbury set in 2019) ever since I first got into them, being there with my brother, it all meant everything to me.

This was a cool show to be at with my family, seeing that T? would've played all the time in the house growing up. Also got a slice of Bambino's afterwards which was a plus

A visually stunning show. Amazing performance from the whole band, really a one of a kind show

I get goosebumps and teary eyed when I think about this show. Me and my brother would listen to blink all the time growing up and that never left us. It was so special for me to see them because I love them but it was even more special to see my brother see them, because I could only imagine how much that show and whole moment meant to him.

Just like with the smashing pumpkins, it didn't really hit me in the moment that I had just seen Idles, a band that are so important to me in so many ways. It really was a dream come true. Also LCD Soundsystem were great!

I remember this show being such a blur to me after I had just seen them because it just didn't fully process. Being able to see my favourite band of all time just seemed like it would never happen for whatever reason, but yet I got to see them with Weezer supporting which was a huge plus! Just such an all round incredible night

I remember it being a great and impressive show but Jesus standing for it felt like forever. Would've been suchhhh a better show if it was sitting

I remember just about getting to our seats when the show started, couldn't have got there at a more perfect time really. Very efficient

Such a special show. Waited so long to see them and to see them with my brother just made it all that more special. It's shows like these that matter the most

Probably the worst view I've had for a concert seeing that we were in the upper circle for it, but we were able to get close enough to the front so it wasn't the end of the world

Zach Hills drumming throughout the whole show was just an incredible visual, that man is a machine. Such a ferocious non stop set with so much energy and rage. There was times I couldn't believe just how my energy they brought that I couldn't move, I was just that gobsmacked by it

Was in absolute awe, just knowing I was able to see them live after following them for the past 5 years. Truly special

Again, the whole day was great so it just added to it but wow what a show this was. Incredible energy and crowd work. Charlie is such a great frontman. Probably the best view I've ever had for a show

I remember United had just beaten Newcastle in the EFL Cup final and I was delighted about that going into the show. The show ended up being such a great show with a class setlist. Closing out with Ethel which is one of, if not my favourite song by them was such a perfect way to end it for me

The whole day was amazing. That added to the show I think but even separating that, just such a perfect show. The production and all round performances from everyone was so special. It was especially special to see him with my brother, seeing he's the one who got me into Kendrick all those years ago

I remember the performance of Outside just being one of the most incredible things I've ever witnessed. Probably the best song I've ever seen live and it also helps that it's one of my favourite songs ever in general. RIP Groggs

Such an amazing show that was put together. Rina sounded fantastic and the back up dancers brought so much energy. If she had performed 'Cyber Stockholm Syndrome' it would've been a 10/10 100%.

There was such a great energy and even though I hadn't really listened to Cordae in a couple of years when I seen him, I still remembered nearly all the words to the songs which I was surprised by. Very underrated show in my catalogue

I was singing and screaming along to the majority of the songs which I regret because it must've been so irritating for everyone else around me. Keeps me up at night sometimes

I remember the fire alarm going off and the show being cut down a fair bit which was unfortunate

I remember the Mac Miller tribute being so special and emotional, such a fantastic show

I remember being blown away by the performance for PRIDE. as Kendrick was somehow horizontally balanced on this dancer? I don't even know how to explain it but that was insane
