What Is It Like to See Wincent Weiss Live?
He won't stay on the stage: Wincent Weiss has climbed a tent's steel beam, sprinted his band onto a Locarno balcony and crowd-surfed in Hamburg's arena, then paused the party to say therapy is nothing to hide.
What to Know Before You Go
- 1The barrier isn't the only close spot
He has opened an arena show on a B-stage in the middle of the hall, sung from small platforms spread across an open-air field and crowd-surfed toward the back. If you end up mid-floor, you may get your moment anyway.
- 2Make a poster, and make it specific
He reads handmade signs from the stage. At Rostock in August 2025 he picked out two fans' poster asking for a photo with him.
- 3Kids are a normal part of the crowd
Plenty of fans come with a parent or an aunt, and the front rows are often primary-school kids in tour shirts. The Tollwood festival in [Munich](/cities/munich) set its minimum age at 6.
- 4Stay through "Feuerwerk"
Streamers drop over the crowd on the last beat, and people pocket them as the souvenir of the night.
- 5There will be a mental-health talk
Between the singalongs he talks about his own therapy and tells the room to get help if they need it. It's sincere and the crowd answers it with screams, not silence.
- 6Heritage venues lose the pyro
At castle courtyards like the Residenzschloss Ludwigsburg there's no pyro and no confetti, and he says the crowd has to sing louder to make up for it.
- 7Opener
No support act had been announced for the 2027 arena tour as of October 2026. Recent openers were Levka (arenas, March 2025) and Alexander Eder with his band (Sommertour 2026).
- 8Tour shirts tend to turn up online later, cheaper
Past tour shirts stayed on the official shop after the run and were marked down, so you don't have to fight the stand.
- 9It's all in German
Lyrics and banter are German throughout. The jump-along songs land for anyone; the speeches won't if you don't speak it.

What It's Actually Like
He Will Leave the Stage. Plan for It.
Wincent Weiss treats the stage as a starting point. In a sweltering tent at the Zeltfestival Rhein-Neckar in Mannheim on 31 May 2018 he walked off mid-song and climbed a steel beam in the middle of the tent so everyone could see him, and two teenagers scrambled up after him for selfies. At Moon&Stars in Locarno in July 2024 he moved the entire band from the main stage to a balcony over the Piazza Grande, shoving through the fans and then sprinting, with one minute budgeted in the production plan and his own target of 45 seconds. "We're just going to play where we've never played in our lives," he told the square, and played "Unter meiner Haut" and "Morgen" from up there. At the Barclays Arena in Hamburg on 10 March 2025 he crowd-surfed and told the crowd he wanted to make it to the far end of the arena one day. You feel it on the floor as a sudden lurch: the crowd turns, phones swing around, and the person who was at the back is suddenly closest.
Flames, Confetti and a Man Floating Over the Floor
The arena production goes big. At the Schleyerhalle in Stuttgart in March 2025, you got a mini stage in the middle of the hall, two video screens, moving stage pieces, flames shooting up from the stage and confetti from the roof, plus a moment where he floated above the audience, staged in a way the Stuttgarter Zeitung reviewer compared to Helene Fischer. In Hamburg the same tour opened with him on the B-stage singing "Hier mit dir," then riding a cable-car style rig over everyone's heads to the main stage. Open-air nights keep the effects: pyro, colour bombs and confetti at Rostock's IGA-Park in August 2025. The exception is a listed building. At the Residenzschloss Ludwigsburg courtyard heritage rules ban pyro and confetti, and his instruction to the crowd is blunt: "mehr Gas geben, mehr Stimmung machen, mehr mitsingen" (give it more, make more noise, sing along more).
“Es ist keine Schande, sich Hilfe zu holen, bitte macht das, wenn es euch nicht gut geht.”
The Therapy Talk Is Part of the Set
That line ("there's no shame in getting help, please do it if you're not okay") came on the market square in Balingen in July 2024, while he introduced the song "Winter" and explained he'd started therapy after a stretch of nonstop touring. At the Schleyerhalle in March 2025 he spoke about his depression and the therapy he began in 2019, and the arena screamed back. At Rostock in August 2025 the target was filtered social media: "Echte Gefühle, echte Körper, das ist die Welt, nicht Social Media" (real feelings, real bodies, that's the world). In Regensburg in July 2026 he warned that social media has its dark sides, and parents in the crowd were seen nodding along. He can flip back to party mode in a sentence, as in Stuttgart: "Scheißegal, was gestern war, kein Plan, was morgen kommt, was wir jetzt machen können, ist Spaß haben!" Not everyone buys the earnestness. The same Stuttgarter Zeitung review dubbed him the nation's ideal son-in-law, found the new songs less original than they could be, and still admitted the reassuring tone won her over.
A Crowd That Runs From Four to 80
His own estimate of his audience, given before a 2023 tour, was four to 80 years old, and the reviews back him up. At Mannheim in 2018 most of the tent was young and many were minors with their parents. In Balingen in July 2024 the front rows were kids in tour shirts holding posters, children stood with their mothers, and he sang a birthday serenade for a seven-year-old named David and hugged him. In Stuttgart in 2025 the reviewer saw fans with mothers, fathers and aunts. The die-hards are serious: outside the Barclays Arena on 10 March 2025 the first fans were in line from 3 a.m. And at Rostock's IGA-Park in August 2025 the show spilled beyond the fence, where people without tickets set up fishing chairs, grills and a football and sang along from outside.
A Band He Calls His Second Family
Before every show, by his own account in a May 2023 interview, he goes to the toilet with his pianist, then the band hugs, tunes in, shouts together and walks on, often after a ginger schnapps. He calls them his "Zweitfamilie." At Rostock the line-up was Florian Kettler on drums, Manuel Weber on piano and Simon covering guitar for Benny, who had just become a father for the second time. Live, the songs get stretched and pushed: the 2018 Mannheim reviewer heard versions that went rockier or calmer than the records and a band medley of German pop songs. He rarely does covers, but setlist.fm logs Philipp Poisel's "Wie soll ein Mensch das ertragen" twice, plus one-off outings for Álvaro Soler's "Ella," Michael Patrick Kelly's "Roundabouts" and LEA's "Wohin willst du." The core of the set is the hits: "Feuerwerk," "Musik sein" and "Frische Luft" are his three most-played songs on setlist.fm, each logged well over 100 times.
Schön, dass du da bist Arenatour 2027 (2027)
13 dates from 11 to 27 November 2027, from Kiel's MERKUR Ostseehalle to a finale at the Uber Arena on 27 November. It's his first arena run since the March 2025 tour, following the biggest open-air summer of his career.
Thirteen Arenas, Back to Back
The routing is tight: Kiel, the Lanxess Arena, Leipzig, Dortmund's Westfalenhalle, Mannheim's SAP Arena, the Olympiahalle, Nürnberg, the Schleyerhalle, Frankfurt, Bremen and the Barclays Arena in Hamburg before the closer. Production details hadn't been revealed by October 2026; the listings promise a large stage set, the band and personal moments. The 2025 arena show is the best guide to scale: B-stage in the middle of the hall, the cable rig over the floor, flames and confetti. The Olympiahalle date carries some history. On 18 March 2025 he cancelled the show there only hours before doors after falling ill in Zurich, writing on Instagram that it broke his heart to write the words.
What Sommertour 2026 Tells You About the Set
The summer run is the freshest look at how he builds a night now. setlist.fm's 2026 average set opens with "Hast du kurz Zeit," the title track of the January 2026 album, and ends with "Kurz für immer," with "Feuerwerk" moved to second-to-last after years as the closer. There was no encore break in any of the analysed shows: the lights stay up, and when he leaves, that's it. Expect the new album to fill the early part of the set, then the run of "Frische Luft," "Musik sein," "Wer wenn nicht wir" and "Feuerwerk" toward the end. By the arena dates the 2026 songs will be almost two years old and the crowd will know them.
“Es ist keine Schande, sich Hilfe zu holen, bitte macht das, wenn es euch nicht gut geht.”
Tickets and Openers
General sale opened on 20 July 2026, a week after the tour was announced, and tickets for the Uber Arena finale started at €51. No support act had been named by early October 2026. On recent runs he has picked young German acts: Levka, a 19-year-old singer of quiet ballads, opened the 2025 arenas, and Alexander Eder and his band warmed up Sommertour 2026 crowds at stops like Bonn and Regensburg. One warning sign from the summer: the 14 August 2026 show in Willingen was cancelled because ticket sales couldn't cover the production. "Das tut mir richtig weh," he wrote.

Merch
The official shop runs a tour collection alongside song-title clothing, all priced in euros.
What's Exclusive
The tour collection is where the one-run items sit: the "Sommer Tour 2026" T-shirt, a "10 Jahre Live" T-shirt marking a decade since "Musik sein," a "Sommer 2026" fabric wristband, a "Konzerttagebuch" (a concert diary for logging your shows), a "Backstagepass" car air freshener and a "Live" fleece blanket. There's also a run of "Crew" items, from T-shirts to a ripped "Crew Edition" beanie and a rear-window car sticker. For the 2026 album he sold a signed, limited fanbox that doubles as a clock, with five swappable dials, one of them signed.
Prices
Tour tees: €40. Song-title T-shirts: €40. Hoodies: €75 to 80. Crewnecks: €60 to 70. Long-sleeve shirts: €35 to 50. Caps: €30. Beanies: €25. Posters: €15. The concert diary is €20 and the fleece blanket €55.
The Strategy
Tour shirts don't disappear when the tour ends. In October 2026 the "Sommer Tour 2026" shirt was already marked down from €40 to €25 on the official shop, and the "Sommertour 2025" shirt was still there at €20 under "Letzte Chance." If you just want the shirt, waiting is a real option. We found no reliable reports on venue-stand queues or venue-only items, so we're not guessing about the night itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
It's a big, family-friendly German pop show that keeps breaking out of the stage. Expect jump-along hits like "Frische Luft" and "Musik sein," flames and confetti in the arenas, at least one trip into the crowd, and a sincere speech about therapy and mental health somewhere in the middle.
Wincent Weiss plays 1h 55m to 2h, see At a Glance above. On Sommertour 2026 there was no encore break, so when he walks off after the last song, the show is over.
Usually 8 to 8:30 pm. At Regensburg in July 2026 Alexander Eder started at 7 pm and Weiss came on at 8; at the Barclays Arena in March 2025 the lights went out at 8.
Yes, kids are a big part of his crowd, often with a parent. See the crowd section above for how young the front rows get. Some open-air venues set a minimum age; Tollwood's was 6.
Mostly hits plus the newest album. "Feuerwerk," "Musik sein" and "Frische Luft" are fixtures, and the current album supplies much of the first half; covers and rarities are very occasional.
Yes, if you want a warm, singalong pop night where the artist actively comes to you. Bandsintown reviewers write things like "beste nacht meines lebens" (best night of my life), and even a skeptical Stuttgart critic was won over by the reassuring tone. If earnest talk about mental health between songs isn't your thing, or you want risky setlists, it may feel too polished.
"Feuerwerk" for the finale, "Musik sein" and "Frische Luft" for the full-room singalong, "Hier mit dir," which he sang from the B-stage to open the Hamburg arena show in March 2025, and "Winter," which he uses to talk about getting help.
They move indoors, which brings back the full effects package: B-stage, flames and confetti from the roof rather than open-air pyro under the sky. The 2026 album songs will be familiar by then, so expect the crowd to sing the newer material back.
No, but it helps. Every lyric and every speech is in German, and the speeches are a real part of the night. The big singalongs work for anyone.
