Twenty-Five Years, Cut Into Medleys

He doesn't pick highlights, he tries to play everything. The 2025 anniversary shows opened with a video on tape and then ran "Steig ein!", "Mein Block", "Goldjunge", "Straßenjunge", "Halt dein Maul" and "Meine Jordans" back to back, each one first verse and chorus only, per the attendee notes on setlist.fm for the Tanzbrunnen show on 30 July 2025 and Expo-Plaza on 16 August. A career-recap tape, then another medley: "Hey du!", "Bilder im Kopf", "Fuffies im Club", "Löwenzahn". Only after that do full songs arrive ("Augen auf", "Der Himmel soll warten", "Mein Testament", "Ein Teil von mir"), followed by a quick-fire run of his features, "2002", "Follow", "Mama hat gesagt", "Ne Leiche". If your Sido is the 2004 album, you get a verse and a chorus of each. If it's the later radio hits, you get the full versions, "Astronaut" and "Tausend Tattoos" included, right before the encore.

Estikay Is Guaranteed, Everyone Else Is a Surprise

Estikay is the one guest you can count on. He opened the 2025 open-air shows and came back out mid-set for "Gar nicht mal so glücklich" and "Ja man" night after night; the Dresden review on paranoyd-magazin calls him "ein langjähriger musikalischer Weggefährte," a longtime companion. Everybody else rotates. The home show at Parkbühne Wuhlheide on 12 July 2025 turned into a Deutschrap roll call: B-Tight for "Westberlin," Nico Santos for "Leere Hände" and "Geschlossene Augen," Kontra K for "Follow," Kitty Kat for "Strip für mich." A month later in Hannover, SDP walked out unannounced for "Ne Leiche" and "Meine Mama hat gesagt" at the Expo-Plaza, per Nordevents. You won't know who's coming. Nobody does.

He Comes Down Into the Crowd for "Mit dir"

Floor people, stay alert late in the set. On the 2025 run, setlist.fm contributors marked "Mit dir" with a plain note, "Sido in the audience," at both the Tanzbrunnen and Expo-Plaza shows: he leaves the stage and does the song among you. In Dresden on 19 July 2025, with around 12,000 people on the Elbe bank, he threw his sweat-soaked towel into the front and a fan came away holding it like a trophy, per paranoyd-magazin. Nordevents noticed the same thing in Hannover from the other side: "Sido sprach seine Fans direkt an, erzählte kleine Anekdoten." He talks to people, not at a camera.

The Mouth Has No Filter

He talks between songs, and it isn't a script. Sometimes that's charming: at the first Christmas show in 2018, after a nativity segment, he told the room "Vielleicht streichen wir das morgen" (maybe we'll cut that tomorrow), per Tagesspiegel. Sometimes it isn't. At the livestreamed Columbiahalle show on 22 December 2024, he brought a 12-year-old girl up to sing a carol, called her "bisschen kloppi," told her she sang "scheiße" and swapped her promised present for merch, as Musikexpress reported the next day. The reaction was brutal ("Wie kann man ein Kind so vorführen?"), and Reddit demanded an apology. The shows still sold out the following December. If you want a rapper who has been media-trained into blandness, this isn't him.

Santa Hats and Teenagers, Parents Filming

The crowd is two or three generations deep, and you can see it. At the first Christmas show in 2018, Tagesspiegel's reviewer counted teenagers in Santa hats and light necklaces next to families taking selfies, and thought the whole thing felt more like an après-ski party than a rap concert. At the sold-out Leipzig opener of his 2023 arena tour, Festivalstalker watched the old hits land with several generations at once. The emotional pitch is nostalgia with a drink in hand. In Dresden, paranoyd-magazin heard thousands rapping "Mein Block" and "Fuffies im Club" word for word and summed it up as "Nähe, Ehrlichkeit": closeness, honesty.

Eighteen nights at the Columbiahalle, 2 to 22 December 2026: 2 to 6, 8 to 13, 15 and 16, then 18 to 22 December. About 3,500 people a night, 63,000 across the run.

A Christmas Party in a Living Room Set

The stage is a living room. At the first run in 2018 he climbed out of a fireplace next to a Christmas tree, with the band and guests in Christmas jumpers, Kool Savas and Adel Tawil dropping in, and comedian Kurt Krömer dressed as a Christmas angel (Tagesspiegel). By 2024 it had grown a bar, a chandelier and screens of snowy scenery, with Sido in a white suit singing the carols "schief," off-pitch, as the Berliner Zeitung put it. The 2025 set kept the fireplace, the tree and a minibar (Berliner Kurier). Expect his own Christmas songs next to the hits: on 21 December 2024, setlist.fm logged "Winter im Herz" and "Weihnachtssong" before he tore into "Fuffies im Club" and "Schlechtes Vorbild."

The Guest Parade Is the Point

The 2025 run shows what you are paying for. Musikexpress rounded up who came through: Kitty Kat, Mark Forster for "Au Revoir," Kool Savas, PA Sports, Kontra K, Die Atzen, Loona for "Bailando," SDP, Jamule, Nico Santos and Esther Graf, plus a children's choir on "Mama hat gesagt." Fans on TikTok summed it up: "POV: You go to the Sido Christmas show and get 15 more artists???" and "Sido has ruined all future concerts with THIS show and these special guests." No 2026 guests have been named; the Berlin Magazine listing promises only unnamed "Überraschungsgäste."

How the Night Runs

Doors are at 6 pm and the listed start is 8 pm. In 2025, setlist.fm attendees logged Estikay at 8 pm and B-Tight at 8:15 pm before Sido's own set. Sido then played until between 10:15 and 10:30 pm on each logged night.

The Numbers Behind 18 Nights

He's said why he does it this way: one mid-size hall for weeks costs far less than arenas and keeps the room close, per Raptastisch. The run went from 3 nights in 2018 to 11 in 2024, 15 in 2025 and 18 in 2026, and 16 of the 18 were sold out by 26 February, when Hiphop.de reported the added 8 December date and Sido saying that one really is the last. Raptastisch puts the 2026 gross at about €4.7 million from 63,000 tickets. Face value is around $88 (€75), per Musikexpress.

What Comes Next

A new album, Frieden, lands on 27 November 2026, a week before the residency opens. The lead single "ISSA," featuring his son Bo, came with a video in which he wears a transparent version of the old skull mask (DIFFUS). Then the Frieden Tour 2027: 15 arena dates from 19 September to 8 October 2027, including Lanxess Arena and two nights at Max-Schmeling-Halle, per ms-aktuell.
