What Is It Like to See Lambrini Girls Live?
Phoebe Lunny makes the whole room shout the pit rule back at her, then climbs the barrier, splits the floor in two and pours Lambrini into the front row's open mouths.
What to Know Before You Go
- 1Learn the pit rule
Before the first pit, Phoebe asks what you do when someone falls over. The answer is "Pick them back up!" and she expects you to mean it.
- 2She will not stay on stage
Keep an eye on the barrier and the balcony as well as the stage, because Phoebe spends long stretches of the set out there.
- 3Front row, open wide
She pours Lambrini (sometimes tequila) straight into mouths at the barrier. Stand further back if you'd rather not.
- 4When she says crouch, crouch
At Kentish Town in November 2025 she got the whole floor down before the last chorus of the final song, then set it off.
- 5The speeches are the point
Most songs come with a blunt introduction about who they're aimed at. If you want a show with no politics, this is the wrong band.
- 6Opener
Big Special and Big Girl on the autumn 2026 US dates (both are billed at the Vic Theatre). Big Girl opened the June 2026 make-up shows.
- 7Check the age limit
The Vic Theatre date is 18+.

What It's Actually Like
She Conducts the Pit From Inside It
Most punk singers let the pit happen. Phoebe directs it like a PE teacher with a grudge. At Electric Brixton on 17 April 2025 she demanded "the biggest mosh pit Electric Brixton has ever seen" and yelled "GO," and at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on 19 November 2025 she went up to the balcony to run the pit from above, then parted the floor "like a punk rock Moses." In Oregon that October she cleared a hole in the middle of the floor, called a wall of death and "scaled the barricade multiple times." She decides who's in it, too: at the Manhattan club Racket on 24 September 2025 the pit for "Lads Lads Lads" was opened to everyone except cisgender straight white men, which one fan on Bandsintown summed up as "a no cisgender white male pit." You won't watch her from a distance for long. She'll be next to you, on top of you, or asking you to catch her.
Every Song Comes With a Reason
The speeches are short and blunt, and they're part of the set rather than a break from it. At Racket, Goldmine heard "Bad Apple" introduced as "a song about the police" and "Boys in the Band" as a song about sexual assault in the Brighton music scene: "if abusers are not called out, they will do it again." At the O2 Ritz in November 2025 she told the room to "write to your fucking MP" and to "take your friend for a pint and fucking call him out." The chants follow: "Free Palestine," "Trans Lives Matter" and a call-and-response that ends "Fascism." Not everyone signs up for this. One Ohio fan on Bandsintown in August 2024: "The music was great but way too political. I do not care what side you're on, but please play your f*****g music." The band's answer is on the record.
“It's not punk if it's not pissing people off.”
The Rules Are Enforced Out Loud
Safety isn't a sign by the door. It's a thing Phoebe does in front of everyone. At The Pearl in Canada on 16 May 2025, Concert Addicts watched her demand a "do-over" when a crowd-surfer wasn't caught properly, then stop to call out a man who had "drop-kicked a girl" until he apologised. Back in January 2023 at the Green Door Store in Brighton she stopped the show when a fan reported an assault and had security remove him, NME reported. The pit gets rougher than you'd guess from the rules, though. At Electric Brixton she told the crowd to "beat the shit out of" her while she was in it. The mix of people in the pit is the other surprise: LeftLion's reviewer at Rescue Rooms on 11 April 2025 wrote, "I don't think I've ever seen such a diverse range of people in a mosh pit."
Short, Sharp and Barely Changing
The set barely changes and it's all killer. Setlist.fm's most-played list tells you what you'll hear: "Big Dick Energy," "Craig David," "Help Me I'm Gay," "God's Country" and "Bad Apple," each played well over a hundred times. Across the 2025 shows setlist.fm analysed, 73 of 86 had no encore at all. The loudest moments are the ones built for shouting back: at Kentish Town the crowd answered "When I say Craig, you say David!" and "Cuntology 101" became a Peaches duet in matching silver chrome. You won't get deep-cut roulette. You'll get the same short, sharp songs, with Phoebe off the stage for a good chunk of them.
North America Spring 2026 (2026)
The spring 2026 US and Canada run was meant to follow Coachella. Instead it became a June and autumn tour: four make-up shows in June, then a September and October leg through the Vogue, the Majestic Theatre, the Vic Theatre, the Granada, Delmar Hall and the Orange Peel.
The Tour That Survived a Broken Neck
On 8 April 2026 Phoebe revealed "I fractured my neck and have an acute brain injury" after an accident in Australia that was first misdiagnosed. Doctors ruled out flying or performing for six weeks, so the band pulled out of Coachella and moved every North American date. "If it was a broken leg, I would do a Dave Grohl and play it," she told NME. They were back by 16 June at Warsaw, the Polish hall in Greenpoint, where BrooklynVegan called it "a wild, political, and very fun time." A Canadian fan on Bandsintown that week: "Phoebe knows how to work a motherfucking crowd."
The Set Got Flipped
The 2026 show runs in a different order from the 2025 one. "Bad Apple" now opens (18 of 19 shows setlist.fm analysed), and "Big Dick Energy," which opened all 16 of the 2025 North American shows setlist.fm analysed, has moved to the end, played as a one-song encore at 12 of those 19 shows. At Warsaw in June the main set added "Cult of Celebrity" and "Truth To Power" before "Craig David" and "Cuntology 101," then "Big Dick Energy" came back as the encore. So wait. The song you came for is probably last.
“It's not punk if it's not pissing people off.”
Openers, Tickets and a Bigger Room
Big Special and Big Girl are both billed at the Vic Theatre on 29 September, where tickets were $28 in advance and $30 on the day, with doors at 7 pm. That show was moved up from a smaller room, with every ticket honoured. Just before the leg started, the band opened for Bikini Kill at Brooklyn Steel on 25 September.
What Comes After
A second album, No Refunds, is out 15 January 2027 on City Slang, and the No Refunds Tour follows: UK and Ireland dates in March 2027 ending at the Roundhouse on 19 March, and a European run from May into June.

Frequently Asked Questions
It's a fast, loud punk show where the singer spends as much time in the crowd as on the stage. Phoebe Lunny doesn't just allow a mosh pit, she designs it: where it opens, who's in it, and when it goes. The songs are short and the set is lean.
About 1h. Goldmine timed the Racket show in September 2025 at 13 songs in one hour, and reviewers in Oregon that October called it an "hour-long show." Festival sets are shorter, around 11 songs.
Around 9 pm on a headline night. At Racket in September 2025 Goldmine logged a 9 pm start.
Yes, if you want to be part of the show rather than watch it. A fan from the north of England wrote on Bandsintown that the only shame was not having their "fierce, unapologetically political, anti-prejudice punk brilliance" as a teenager, and LiveRate's roundup of 29 critic reviews puts them at 90 percent.
"Big Dick Energy," "Help Me I'm Gay," "God's Country," "Craig David" and "Cuntology 101" are the crowd's big moments, and the first four are among their most-played songs on setlist.fm. "Boys in the Band" is the one to hear the speech before.
The running order flipped. In 2025 "Big Dick Energy" opened almost every show and there was usually no encore; in 2026 "Bad Apple" opens and "Big Dick Energy" often comes back as a one-song encore. The rooms are bigger too: one autumn date moved up to a larger theater.
Yes. She fractured her neck and suffered an acute brain injury in early 2026, the band skipped Coachella, and they returned on 16 June 2026 in Greenpoint, then played the European festival season.
Kaitlin Pelkey of Big Girl stepped in on bass for the US, UK and European dates when Selin Macieira-Boşgelmez stepped back from live shows in September 2025, with Misha Phillips on drums. Selin is still a member of the band.
