What Is It Like to See Zartmann Live?
A Berlin pop-rap show where a curtain drops on "meinen die uns," the whole hall jumps on command, and the singer stops to answer the far right from the stage.
What to Know Before You Go
- 1Watch his socials before a tour is announced
In September 2026 he toured the 2027 host cities by bus, posted his location every morning at 7 am, and revealed each date at an evening fan meetup. Fans at the Basel meetup walked away with a presale right.
- 2Learn "meinen die uns"
It is his most played live song on setlist.fm, and it bookends the current set. If you know only one song, make it this one.
- 3Opener
No support act has been announced for the Sommer Open Airs 27. On the 2026 hall tour, Aaron was the billed support, kasi & antonius opened in Vienna, and the indie-pop duo Bruckner was listed for the hometown finale in [Berlin](/cities/berlin).
- 4Aaron pulls double duty
The same Aaron who opened the 2026 shows is also Zartmann's drummer and producer, so you see him twice in one night.
- 5Be ready to jump
"Leipzig, ich möchte euch springen sehen" (Leipzig, I want to see you jump) got the whole Haus Auensee off the ground in February 2026. Pick a floor spot with a little room to move.
- 6The banter is German and it gets political
Expect stories about growing up in Prenzlauer Berg, and expect him to address the AfD and the hate he got for saying so on TV.
- 7Tickets come from his own shop too
zartmann.eu sells tickets next to the merch, including city-specific listings for the 2026 tour.

What It's Actually Like
The Curtain Drops on "meinen die uns"
The night starts before you can see him. At the Max-Schmeling-Halle on 6 March 2026 a curtain hid the stage while a kick drum and keyboard tones rolled out, and when it lifted the room was already singing. At Donauinselfest in Vienna that July, a curtain the full width of the stage fell under heavy strobe as he launched into the same song. That song is "meinen die uns," and on setlist.fm's 2026 average set it both opens and closes the show. In Vienna's Gasometer in March 2026 the support act kasi & antonius came back for the second run-through, so the last thing you sing is the first thing you sang. In 2025 it was different: he opened on "tau mich auf," then still his number one, and closed on "eehhhyyy." Expect the order to keep moving between tours.
He Tells You to Jump, Then Talks About the Far Right
Zartmann doesn't stand still. FM4's reviewer in Vienna said he bounced across the stage as if he were training for the skipping-rope championships, and in Leipzig he went down into the audience during "lass es gehn." Then the tone flips. After he said "Fick die AfD" while accepting a Bambi award on 14 November 2025, he got hate and death threats, and he talked about them from the stage on the 2026 tour. The Berlin finale crowd chanted against the AfD within seconds of the first song. He told them he would write it again any time. If you came only for the radio hits, know that the politics are part of the set, not an interruption.
“Gebt Liebe in diese Welt verdammt nochmal, weil das fehlt gerade.”
Four Friends on Stage, and a Real Sound Debate
That line (roughly: give love to this world, damn it, because it's missing right now) is the register of the whole show: a party with a lump in its throat. The band is small and personal. Aaron plays drums and Malik plays bass and also raps, both of them producers in his circle, and the arrangements make room for guitar solos and a classic-rock guitar duet. On the critical side, Tagesspiegel's reviewer at the Berlin finale said the band's inexperience made the sound muddy in places, the changeovers dragged, and the guitarist struggled with Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here," played for Zartmann's late father. On the other side, a fan at the Hamburg Sporthalle in February 2026 wrote on Bandsintown that the sound surprised him because he was used to worse in that room. Don't expect studio polish. Expect friends playing a hall that grew faster than they did.
At Festivals, Stand Where You Can Hear
His festival pull is huge and his quiet songs are fragile. At Hurricane on 21 June 2025 the crowd jammed the narrow access to the Mountain Stage long before he started, the rear speakers and screen were off or close to silent, calls of "Lauter!" (louder!) went unanswered, and people left in streams. At Donauinselfest on 3 July 2026 he headlined the main stage and the whole field filled, yet during the softer middle stretch the back of the crowd drifted into conversation until "tau mich auf" pulled everyone back. Festival sets run about an hour and roughly 13 songs, as at Lollapalooza Berlin in the Olympiastadion Berlin on 19 July 2026. If the ballads matter to you, move forward early or see a headline show.
A Young, Word-Perfect Room
The crowd is predominantly female and it arrives early: in Leipzig fans were queuing well before doors. They call themselves the "Zartmannschaft," and FM4 found them word-perfect from the opening line in Vienna. "wir habens überlebt" is the release valve. Tagesspiegel read it as a generational song about getting through the pandemic years and the war in Ukraine, and the Berlin room exploded on it. At Haus Auensee in Leipzig, heart-shaped confetti fired from cannons several times and thousands of phone lights came up for "fuß baumeln." A Hamburg fan summed it up on Bandsintown: "Familiär und achtsam und trotzdem Vollgas" (familiar and considerate, and still full throttle).
Sommer Open Airs 27 (2027)
14 open-air dates in Germany, Austria and Switzerland from 2 July to 28 August 2027, his only shows of the year. He's skipping festivals in 2027 entirely.
Fourteen Parks and Amphitheatres, No Festival Slots
The run opens at the Summerstage in Münchenstein near Basel on 2 July and closes at the Parkbühne Wuhlheide in Berlin on 28 August, the night after the Filmnächte am Elbufer in Dresden. In between come Tollwood in Munich on 7 July, METAstadt in Vienna, Burg Clam, the palace grounds in Ludwigsburg, Hamburg's MS Uferpark, and the Tanzbrunnen in Cologne on 20 August. His pitch: "Ich will ein riesiges Fest draußen und dass es schön aussieht, alles soll leuchten" (I want a huge party outside, and I want it to look beautiful, everything should glow). The Bielefeld date at Ravensberger Park is listed at €70, with doors at 6:30 pm.
What Tour 26 Tells You to Expect
Nobody has seen the open-air production yet. The best guide is the 2026 hall tour: a shell-shaped stage with warm, 1970s-tinted light, a grey stone wall around the band that seemed to sink into the floor, and a set of 18 to 20 songs. The Basel date went on general sale on 23 September 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions
You get a high-energy German pop-rap set with a melancholy core: he jumps, tells the room to jump, and then slows down for songs about missing people. "wir habens überlebt" is where the room goes off. The crowd is young, mostly female and knows every word.
Plan on 1h 30m for a headline show, 18 to 20 songs, after a support set. Festival sets are much shorter, about an hour.
At about 8 pm on the 2026 hall tour, after the support act. Doors for the 2027 open airs are listed at 6:30 pm.
Yes, with one caveat. Fans on Bandsintown were close to unanimous about the 2026 hall tour ("Zartmann jederzeit wieder," Zartmann any time again, wrote one in Nuremberg), but Tagesspiegel found the sound muddy at the Berlin finale and the changeovers slow. The energy is the selling point, not studio-perfect playing.
Yes, especially at a headline show. The songs land hardest in a room where everyone sings, and the Zartmannschaft sings from the first line. At festivals the quieter stretch can lose the back of the field, so headline dates are the safer bet.
"wir habens überlebt" gets the biggest explosion, "tau mich auf" is the hit everyone waits for, and "fuß baumeln" is the slow one fans film. "wie du manchmal fehlst," his song with Ski Aggu, and "eehhhyyy" round out his most played live songs.
Nobody has been announced for the 2027 open airs. On the 2026 hall tour Aaron, who is also his drummer, was the billed support, with kasi & antonius in Vienna and Bruckner listed for Berlin.
They move outdoors, to parks and amphitheatres such as Tollwood and the Tanzbrunnen, and they are his only shows of 2027. The 2026 run played indoor halls with a shell-shaped stage; how much of that production moves outside hasn't been shown yet.
A headline show, if you can. At Hurricane 2025 the rear speakers failed and people walked away, and at Donauinselfest 2026 the back of the crowd talked through the ballads. If a festival is your only option, stand close.
