What Is It Like to See Sonny Fodera Live?
A continuous house set where a whole arena shouts the toplines of "Asking" and "Somedays" back at the booth, and every so often the singer who recorded the hook walks out and sings it to you live.
What to Know Before You Go
- 1Under 18? Buy a seat.
UK arena standing has been strictly 18+ at his shows, and the [Glasgow](/cities/glasgow) date on the 2027 run is 16+ even in the seats. Check your age band before you check out.
- 2Learn "Asking" and "Somedays."
They're his most-logged tracks on setlist.fm and the two biggest singalongs. "All This Time," "Tell Me," and "Think About Us" are the next tier.
- 3Watch the wings on the big vocal tracks.
Jazzy, D.O.D, Clementine Douglas and Poppy Baskcomb have all appeared to sing their parts over his mix. It's never promised, but at the big dates the odds are decent.
- 4Don't buy a seat to sit in it.
His own line from his 2025 [Manchester](/cities/manchester) arena show was that everyone was dancing "even in their seats." Plan to stand up in the tiers.
- 5The track you can't Shazam is the point.
He road-tests new records on crowds for months before release, so a few unreleased edits sit in every set.
- 6Expect nostalgia flips.
Reviewed sets have threaded Alice Deejay's "Better Off Alone," a "You've Got the Love" remix, and Daft Punk's "One More Time" into his own vocal house.
- 7No support announced yet for 2027.
His recent arena and hall nights have carried his own circle: Jazzy and Saffron Stone at [Co-op Live](/venues/co-op-live) in 2025, Nate and Torren Foot at [Sydney](/cities/sydney)'s [Hordern Pavilion](/venues/hordern-pavilion) in 2026.
- 8Pick Manchester if you can.
It's his most-played city, and he signs off there like it's home.
- 9On merch
his label's clothing arm sells limited city-named tees. Details in the [Merch section](#merch) below.

What It's Actually Like
The Choruses Are the Whole Point
You're at a DJ set: no band, no gaps, no setlist you could write on your hand. But a Fodera set doesn't feel like a moody underground night, because his records are built on big sung toplines and the room treats them like pop songs. DJ Mag's Top 100 entry calls the sound "groove-driven, emotive, and vocal-led house music," and fans on setlist.fm keep logging the same anchors: "Asking" is the most-recorded track, with "All This Time" and "Somedays" right behind. At his Pacha Ibiza Monday on July 21, 2025, Mixmag watched the floor sing his vocal hooks back during his closing set. The bass sits low and warm under those choruses, so you end up half dancing, half shouting lyrics at strangers.
Keep an Eye on the Side of the Stage
The singers on his records don't just exist as samples. They show up. For his two-night September 2024 double at Manchester's Depot, Jazzy was billed to perform "Somedays" in person over the mix. In January 2025, heading into a Liverpool weekend, he posted a clip of the night he "brought out" D.O.D for the same track. At Hits Radio Live in Birmingham both Clementine Douglas and Poppy Baskcomb walked into his set. When a familiar vocal track starts building, look left and right of the booth, because the voice you're hearing might be about to appear with a microphone.
“to see everyone dancing, even in their seats, was something I will never forget”
You're Hearing Next Summer's Single Tonight
Fodera treats the dancefloor as his test lab. Music Week reported he played "Somedays" weekly for six months before it came out, "building demand," and his label manager said "once we saw the crowd's reaction, we knew it had something special." He's told the same story about older records ("tried it out at the club, and it went down crazy," to EDM Identity in 2019), and he premiered a Bicep edit at Parklife before he ever uploaded it. So if a vocal you've never heard drops and the people around you go quiet trying to place it, that's the moment. Film it if you want to say you were early.
He Lets the Records Talk, With a Disco Streak
He isn't a mic guy. Reviews describe him working the room through the mix rather than speeches. At the sold-out Kings Hall show in Brooklyn on November 2, 2019, Magnetic Magazine's reviewer stood under a big disco ball hung over the middle of the room, said Fodera "kept fans moving," and watched the night end on Daft Punk's "One More Time." At Longitude in 2024 he ran the riff from "Better Off Alone" through his set like a thread. Expect those flashes of throwback, laid over his own soulful vocal tracks rather than replacing them.
Warm, Not Dark
The feeling people describe afterward is closer to a big communal night out than a sweaty basement trance. Bandsintown attendees wrote "Beautiful experience!" after a June 2025 Liverpool warehouse date and "Amazing night! He killed it!!" after a May 2025 Vancouver club show. A July 2025 reviewer at Silverworks Island in London called his headline set "without a doubt, the highlight" of the day, while marking the site down for its ground, crowd tension, and drug use. That's the honest split: the music lands, and your night depends a lot on the room it's in.
AREN4 UK Arena Tour (2027)
Four UK arena dates following his sixth album, can we do it all again? (June 12, 2026): Newcastle's Utilita Arena on March 19, OVO Hydro in Glasgow on March 20, Co-op Live in Manchester on March 26, and The O2 in London on March 27, followed by two outdoor nights at Cardiff Castle on June 4 and 5.
The Biggest London Room He's Booked
The O2 is the headline here. His previous London high point was a sold-out Alexandra Palace Great Hall in March 2024, billed as his "biggest ever show in the capital" at 10,000. Going from that to London's largest arena in three years, as a self-releasing DJ on his own label, is the step this tour exists to make. It also closes a run that starts with a return to Co-op Live, the room he sold out in November 2025.
Tickets and Age Rules
Glasgow face value runs £38 to £64 (about $51 to $86) including some fees, with venue premium seats at £81 (about $108), per The Scotsman. The artist presale opened September 2, 2026, with general sale on September 4. Standing at the Hydro is 18+ and the whole show is 16+, which is stricter than the venue's usual policy. At Co-op Live in 2025 standing was strictly 18+ too, and the venue warned it would re-seat anyone who looked under 18.
Who's Opening
Support for AREN4 hadn't been named as of October 2026. His own recent headline nights have kept it in the family: the 2025 Co-op Live page listed Jazzy and Saffron Stone, a young artist on his Solotoko label, and the October 2026 Hordern Pavilion show ran Nate at doors and Torren Foot ahead of him. Expect label-adjacent house support rather than a big-name co-bill.

Merch
What's Exclusive
Merch runs through Solotoko London, the clothing side of his label ("music, parties and fashion"). Its "Season 1" drop was limited "Manchester" and "Brixton" signature tees, with a store banner reading "Warehouse Project and Brixton exclusive," and the whole shop is flagged as limited stock. He also put out a collaboration tee with About Blank that sold out fast.
Prices
Tees: $67 (£50). Long-sleeve: $67 (£50). Hoodies: $134 (£100). Those are rounded conversions of the official GBP listings, not observed US prices. It's priced like streetwear rather than a tour stall, so the city-named tees are the pieces that feel worth it.

Frequently Asked Questions
It's a continuous vocal-house DJ set that a crowd treats like a pop show, with soulful toplines over warm, low bass and a few throwback flips mixed in. The mood is communal rather than dark and clubby, closer to a big night out with friends than a techno basement.
A headline set runs 1h 30m to 2h 0m. His Liverpool date in January 2025 was posted as a 9pm to 11pm set, and his solo slot on the 2019 Brooklyn co-headline night ran about an hour and a half before the back-to-back with Dom Dolla. Festival slots are shorter.
He headlines last and runs to the published slot. At the Hordern in October 2026 the venue listed doors at 7pm, two support sets, and Fodera at 9pm, and we found no fan reports of him starting late.
Both, by design. The anchor vocal tracks recur night after night, and around them he slots unreleased edits he's testing on the crowd (more on that in [What It's Actually Like](#what-its-actually-like)).
Club-night casual rather than festival costume. This is a house crowd that dances for the full set, seated tiers included, so dress for moving rather than for photos.
Yes, if vocal house is your thing. Attendee reviews on Bandsintown are consistently positive about the set itself, with the complaints aimed at venues rather than at him. If you want hard, dark techno, this isn't that night.
For fans of his records, yes. Tracks that feel breezy on streaming hit much harder with a full room shouting the toplines, and he sells out arenas as an independent artist on his own label, which tells you the crowd keeps coming back.
"Asking" (with MK and Clementine Douglas) and "Somedays" (with Jazzy and D.O.D) are the two biggest moments. "All This Time," "Tell Me," and "Think About Us" (with D.O.D and Poppy Baskcomb) are the other recurring peaks fans log on setlist.fm.
It's bigger at the top end. The 2025 run was three arenas ending at Co-op Live; AREN4 adds Newcastle and his first headline at The O2, then extends into outdoor Cardiff Castle nights. It's also the first UK arena run behind a new album, *can we do it all again?*.
