What Is It Like to See LEAP Live?
The singer climbs down into the crowd to start the mosh pit himself, then crouches at the barrier holding hands through the song about his dad. Sweaty club shows where fans bring handmade gifts and wear the lyrics as tattoos.
What to Know Before You Go
- 1Decide on the pit before the band walks on.
Jack Scott doesn't wait for the crowd to start one. He goes into the room and opens it himself, usually by "Fistful Of Money" or "Vision Of Us," so if you'd rather watch from the edge, be there already.
- 2Learn "Energies" and "Exit Signs."
They're the two most-played songs in LEAP's history, and nobody in the room is mumbling through them.
- 3The front row gets the singer.
Scott spends long stretches crouched at the barrier holding hands and singing to whoever is there. In Haarlem in April 2026 he jumped into the crowd on "Exit Signs."
- 4"Messages" is the quiet one, and it hits.
It's Scott's song about losing his father, and he dedicates it from the stage to anyone who has lost someone. Expect the pit to stop and people to cry.
- 5Opener on the UK dates: Glazed Curtains.
They're listed for the Hare & Hounds and Electric Ballroom dates, and the Austrian band have history with LEAP (they opened the sold-out Vienna show in 2023). OUT IN FRONT opened the St Paul date in October 2026.
- 6Bring something, if you want.
Fans hand over self-made rings, homemade shirts and small gifts, and the band say it happens all the time. Nobody expects it from you.
- 7It's all originals.
No covers, ever, and older EP songs like "One Million Pieces" and "Fistful Of Money" still sit next to the album tracks.
- 8People stay to talk about the heavy stuff.
Fans hang back after shows to tell Scott about their own grief and healing. He calls the fanbase "a community of slightly damaged individuals."

What It's Actually Like
Jack Scott Starts the Pit Himself
Most frontmen ask for a circle pit. Scott walks down and builds it. At Manchester Academy 3 on October 15, 2025, he asked the room to "let me know when you are ready for a mosh pit," got a lukewarm answer, and went into the crowd during "Fistful Of Money" to start it anyway, then did the same on "Vision Of Us" (NationalWorld). By the time the room loosens up it really goes: at the sold-out Patronaat in Haarlem in April 2026, an attendee from Melomaniacs Mag counted several pits, with the biggest of the night on "Where The Silence Goes" and a last one on "The Downfall." He even got into the support act's pit in Warsaw that month. If you're near the middle of the floor, you are in it.
He Spends Half the Set at the Barrier
When he isn't in the pit, Scott is crouched at the front. In Haarlem he held hands with the first row and sang straight into their faces, jumped into the crowd on "Exit Signs," and left blowing kisses, soaked through since the second song. At Academy 3 "I Was Never There" broke into a dance battle and he threw a rose into the crowd. Bassist Declan Brown is the other talker: when Scott asked the Haarlem crowd for Dutch phrases, Brown answered with one in Afrikaans and got a cheer.
“100% guaranteed mosh pit or money back!”
"Messages" Is Where the Room Goes Quiet
The loud parts are half the show. The other half is Scott dedicating songs to whatever people in the room are carrying. "Messages" is about his father, who died in 2021, and at Academy 3 he offered it to anyone who had recently lost someone, after giving "Waste Your Love" to anyone who'd been through a breakup. In Haarlem he dedicated it to the way the crowd was looking after each other. At Village Underground, Out Of Rage noted tears in the same sold-out room where people had been moshing ten minutes earlier.
The Last Song Is a Coin Toss Between Two
The band will tell you "Exit Signs" has closed the set since the day they wrote it (Kerrang track-by-track, 2025). The setlists say otherwise, and that's the fun part. On setlist.fm, "Energies" (66 plays) and "Exit Signs" (65) are the two most-played songs LEAP have, and they trade the final slot. Haarlem ended on "Exit Signs." The October 2025 album shows at Academy 3 and Village Underground played "Exit Signs" third and closed the encore on "Eclipse" into "Energies," which is also how the band's 2023 Vienna show ended. So know both. Whichever comes last, the room sings every word of it.
Four People Sharing the Stage, Zero Covers
This isn't a singer with a backing band. The Music Is To Blame reviewer at Proxima in Warsaw (April 18, 2026) singled out how evenly the spotlight spread across Scott, Brown, guitarist Adam Mason and drummer Hector Cottam, who grew up with Scott in Edinburgh. Brown barks during "Play Dead," which Mason calls his favourite to play. And in 147 setlist.fm setlists there isn't a single cover. Every song is theirs, from the 2022 EP cuts to the new album.
Entropy World Tour (2026)
LEAP's first world tour closes out the self-released Entropy campaign: a summer of European festivals (including a slot at All Points East alongside Twenty One Pilots), a 13-date North American club leg that ended in October, 14 mainland European dates in November and seven UK and Ireland dates in December (Ghost Cult Magazine, September 2026). Every headline room is a club, with sold-out dates on all three legs.
The Rooms Just Got Bigger
The tour's London date on December 4 is at Electric Ballroom, which holds 1,100 (Songkick). Some of the UK dates are tiny by comparison: Thekla, the boat in Bristol harbour, on December 6 is already sold out, as are Fabrik in Hamburg and the Nuremberg date in November.
Who's Opening
Glazed Curtains support on the UK dates, listed for the Hare & Hounds and Electric Ballroom (Songkick, Skiddle). They are the same Austrian band that opened for LEAP at Szene in Vienna in December 2023, so this is a reunion more than a booking. OUT IN FRONT opened the North American date at St Paul's Turf Club (First Avenue). Support for the November mainland European leg wasn't listed at time of writing.
What the Set Looks Like Right Now
Headline shows open on "Over & Out" into "Play Dead," a pairing that has held since the October 2025 album shows. The middle is album-heavy ("Waste Your Love," "I Was Never There," "Do Or Die," "Messages," "One Way Out") with older songs like "Show Me The Way You Love" and "Where The Silence Goes" folded in. Festival sets this summer were cut down to 7 to 11 songs. "Bloodlines," the first single on Epitaph Records, came out in September 2026; whether it has joined the set isn't documented yet.

Lyric Tattoos
Permanent"Energies" and "The Downfall" lyrics are the most common LEAP fan tattoos, so expect to see them at the barrier.
"SEND IT!!"
PermanentThe band's catchphrase, shrieked in a very high voice, which core fans have picked up and use themselves.
Rock and Roll Therapy
PermanentThe band's own name for what the show is: release in the pit, then real conversations about loss afterwards.

Merch
LEAP merch is album-driven, and the Entropy basics are sold online through Epitaph Records, so the merch table isn't your only shot at the tee. Entropy tees: $35. Entropy LP: $28 (white or clear blue swirl). Entropy CD: $14. The oddest item they've made is a vinyl postcard, which the band describe as "a postcard that is also a vinyl with a single that you can play on your record player" (Altcorner); whether it's on the 2026 table isn't documented. Hoodie and poster prices, and any fan verdict on quality, weren't documented at time of writing.

Frequently Asked Questions
It's a sweaty, loud club show that swings between full-floor pits and songs Jack Scott dedicates to whatever people in the room are going through. The four of them share the stage evenly, every song is their own, and the crowd sings almost every line back.
A full headline set runs 16 to 18 songs, including a two-song encore at the October 2025 album shows. Nobody has clocked an exact runtime in the reviews we found. Festival sets are much shorter.
They keep to the schedule. At Proxima in Warsaw in April 2026 the support started at 7:15pm and LEAP were on at about 8:20pm, and we found no reports of late starts.
No. LEAP (usually written in capitals) are the London-based four-piece fronted by Jack Scott, with Hector Cottam, Declan Brown and Adam Mason, and their debut album is *Entropy*. Randolph's Leap are a different, Scottish indie band. On setlist.fm, LEAP's page is the one under the slug leap-7bfeb6dc.
Yes, and the reason is how hard all four of them throw themselves at small rooms. Attendee write-ups from Patronaat, Proxima and Village Underground all come back to the same two things: the frontman's "relentless energy" and how evenly the stage is shared.
If you like a club show that swings between a full-on pit and a room in tears, yes. They're still playing clubs, which means you can get close to the barrier, and that is exactly where this band is at its best.
"Energies" and "Exit Signs" are the two everyone waits for. "Vision Of Us" and "Fistful Of Money" are the pit songs, "Where The Silence Goes" drew the biggest pit in Haarlem, and "Over & Out" into "Play Dead" is the opening punch.
The rooms grew and the setlist rolled over. In 2023 they played 11 to 12 songs from their EPs in small clubs; by late 2025 the album shows ran 16 to 18 songs opening on "Over & Out" and "Play Dead." Most of the old EP set ("Sleepwalker," "Sick Sense," "Burnt Matches") has dropped out, but "Energies," "Exit Signs" and "One Million Pieces" survived.
